Join us in growing food for the community!

We need volunteers to help us take care of our plants and in return, they will receive a small portion of the harvest before it is donated to the food bank.

As a volunteer you will benefit by getting a chance to work with the earth and by becoming a part of a community dedicated to increasing food security and gardening knowledge through free workshops and excursions.

No gardening experience is required to volunteer with us. We welcome everyone!

We are able to sign off on high school volunteer service hours and welcome students to apply!

Please see the locations of our pod site providers and let us know which site(s) you'd like to volunteer with.

Time commitment: average 2 hours per week

Volunteering tasks include:

  • Watering

  • Weeding

  • Harvest

  • Packaging of produce

  • Some light site maintenance (clearing garden debris from surrounding area)

We will provide you with any instruction required to help our plants succeed
